The bolt broke on the driver's side seat. I had it replaced and I would like the car manufacture to reimburse me. Several Jeep owners have posted on this issue. The contact owned a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped with Prinx Tires, Tire Line: High Country RT, Tire Size: LT265/65/R16, DOT Number: N/A. The contact stated that, while his son was driving at an undisclosed speed during light snowfall and attempting to reduce speeds, the vehicle lost traction. As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle and slid off the roadway, only coming to a complete stop after rolling once down an embankment and colliding with a tree. The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a storage facility and deemed a total loss by the contact's insurance provider. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. The driver did not receive immediate medical attention but later transported himself to a chiropractor and was treated for stiffness. Airbag light coming Laredo.!! Will it work??? Drivers side squib is error it reads is there an issue with squib and clockspring? Very expensive repair several issues on web about clockspeings going bad on all years of jeep grand cherokee laredos. Mine is 2001 jeep.
