2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Complaints

My 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe has developed a recurring safety defect involving the front passenger seat lumbar-support system. Without any input from the passenger or driver, the pneumatic lumbar bladder will randomly begin inflating and continue until it reaches maximum inflation. When this occurs, the lumbar support protrudes significantly into the seatback and forces the passenger’s torso forward from the normal seated position. The passenger cannot reliably stop or reverse the inflation using the seat controls. This can interfere with proper seating posture and seat-belt positioning and creates a potential safety risk, particularly if the malfunction occurs while the vehicle is moving. There is no readily accessible owner method to manually vent or deflate the bladder when it becomes stuck. The Evaporator AC Core/Expansion valve was faulty, which is VERY common in these vehicles. The dealership fixed it (still has a noise so not 100% sure if it was fixed or if it's another faulty one). Leaking air conditioner refrigerant is hazardous to both human health and the environment. When these things leak it releases toxic chemicals into the air and atmosphere. The dealership confirmed the issue and fixed it which took 5 days to do and a TON of hours which cost me over $3000. I have complained to Jeep/Chrysler and they will do nothing. It should be a recall in these vehicles and the consumer should not have to pay for bad/faulty parts. My vehicle was inspected by two dealerships to get second opinions. I was told by the dealerships they are doing these repairs more than they would like to say. No warnings just a annoying sound when the AC was on and I would lose Freon constantly and my AC would go warm. I'm asking for something to be done. Thank you.

My vehicle has multiple software and electrical issues that Jeep has been unable to diagnose or repair, and there is currently no recall addressing these problems. One of the most serious issues is that the vehicle will randomly switch the display language from English to Italian while I am driving. When this happens, the speedometer changes from miles per hour (MPH) to kilometers per hour (KPH), making it difficult to know my speed without pulling over and manually changing the language back to English. This creates an unnecessary safety concern. Additionally, the automatic door lock feature no longer functions properly. Although the dealership has repaired it in the past, the problem has returned. The failure had occurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken back to the residence; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
