    On February 25, 2026 the car was brought to the service department where it was determined that a front tire had a separated belt which caused vibrations and failure to accelerate . On June 16, 2026 the car was brought to the service department for the same thing. Again a tire had a separated belt again 235/55R19101H

The dealer removed the wiring harness which rendered the tow hitch inoperable. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that the removal of the wiring harness was the fix for the recall repair. The contact stated that he purchased the specific XRT model due to the specific feature of the tow hitch and now it is inoperable. The approximate failure mileage was 49200

    The contact owns a 2024 Hyundai Tucson. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V893000 (Trailer Hitches); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the dealer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that a recall repair appointment was scheduled with the dealer and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair; however, the dealer informed the contact that parts were not yet ordered. The contact was concerned about the fire risk warning associated with the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
