2017 Ram 3500 Complaints

No cruise control, ding ding ding no traction control ding ding ding no abs ding ding ding

The contact owns a 2017 Ram 3500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH, the ABS and ESC warning lights illuminated. The contact depressed the brake pedal but was unable to stop the vehicle. The contact had a snowplow attached to the front of the vehicle and lowered the plow to stop the vehicle. The contact was having the vehicle towed to a dealer, but the vehicle was not yet at the dealer. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact was advised by the dealer that the parts to complete the recall repair were not yet available, but would attempt a temporary repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.

It has been over 1year now and chrysler still doesn't have a fix for the anti lock brake system. How long can this go on? the truck keeps kicking out the cruise control and the traction controls. I have been contacting the dealers but there isn't a fix WTF!

The contact stated that each time the deer appeared so fast. In addition, the contact stated that the area in which the contact resides was highly populated with deer. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for damage repairs to the exterior of the vehicle. In addition, the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with a failed HCU module. The contact was informed that the HCU module needed to be replaced.
