2013 Jeep Wrangler, which is currently subject to a manufacturer-issued “Do Not Drive” safety recall involving the driver’s airbag. Upon learning of the recall, I immediately acted responsibly by delivering my vehicle to Romano Chrysler Jeep in Fayetteville, New York, so the required safety repair could be completed. My Jeep has now been at the dealership for more than six weeks because the replacement airbag remains on backorder. During this time, I have repeatedly requested updates and asked whether a loaner or rental vehicle could be provided. Despite the fact that Stellantis has instructed owners not to drive affected vehicles, I have been informed that no transportation assistance will be provided. Compounding the problem, my New York State inspection expired while the Jeep has been sitting at the dealership. The abs module is providing a code and mechanic states it is defective and needs to be replaced. Manufacturer has no parts available for repair. No accident occurred, only way to use vehicle is without abs protected braking.

Had this 2013 Jeep Wrangler since new and has ABS module internal failure code C2200. ABS, ANTI SKID, BRAKE lights are constantly lit on the dashboard. No ABS on this Jeep making it unsafe in an emergency braking situation which could cause a crash. Have tried for over a year and a half to have the ABS repaired or get a new ABS Module. As of today, June 29, 2026, Mopar Parts has again informed us that the ABS Module is unavailable. The Internet has been alive with many Jeep Wrangler owners driving around with no ABS braking. NTSA needs to take action to get this corrected.

The ABS module failed in summer 2025. We took the Jeep to the mechanic who was unable to source a new part. The part has been on backorder now for over a year. We cannot get the Jeep inspected because of the break safety issue. The Jeep has no ABS if emergency breaking. Several warning lights are constantly on when operating the Jeep.

2013 Jeep Wrangler. ABS module internal failure code C2200. 3 lights are constantly lit on the dashboard. No ABS on this Jeep, making it unsafe in the rain and snow. No way to have this part repaired anymore, nor does the dealership offer it. Shameful and shocking that MOPAR isn't dealing with this problem. Many, many Jeep owners are dealing with this problem. When will we see a recall??
