Visibility/wiper
07/11/2026
We were driving down the road and heard a loud pop and then heard glass falling onto the sunroof sunshade. My sunroom exploded out of nowhere, nobody in front of me, no trees or structures above us. Just spontaneously shattered.

Steering, engine, forward Collision Avoidance
04/09/2026
I own a 2022 Hyundai Palisade SEL. On XXX, while driving at the intersection of [XXX] and [XXX] in [XXX], the engine abruptly lost power, causing a sudden loss of engine power while the vehicle was in motion. This is my family's primary vehicle, and my wife and children were in the car during this incident. On XXX, I brought the vehicle to Courtesy Hyundai in [XXX]. The dealer found essentially no oil in the engine despite my keeping up with scheduled oil changes. The dealer replaced the oil and performed a software update described on the repair order as "9C9 C ECU SW UPDATE EMISSIONS IMPRV 26-01-010H," and I was instructed to return after 1,000 miles for an oil-level recheck. At that recheck, the dealer's service assistant reported the oil was full. On XXX, before a planned family road trip, I returned the vehicle for another check. Electrical System
07/02/2026
Several times now, the car's engine will shut off while driving at low speed. When it shuts off, there is a relatively loud electrical noise coming from the engine compartment, and the instrument panel has multiple lights and sounds. There have been times when this issue has nearly caused a major accident.

Seat Belts
04/06/2026
My Hyundai Palisade is subject to Recall 283 (NHTSA Recall 25V607000) involving the seat belt system. The affected seat belt has exhibited sticking and binding issues. On at least one occasion, the belt became so tangled and stuck that I had to use pliers to free it. Children regularly use this seating position. I have contacted my Hyundai dealership, Circle Hyundai in Shrewsbury N.J., approximately 4-5 times over the past several months seeking recall repairs. Each time I was advised that parts were unavailable and that the dealership was waiting for Hyundai to supply the recall remedy. I also submitted an online service inquiry and did not receive a response. I am concerned that a known safety defect exists, the seat belt is exhibiting operational problems, and no repair has been made available despite repeated requests for service. I am submitting this complaint due to both the seat belt malfunction and the ongoing inability to obtain the recall repair.
