Recall was issued 9/11/25. As of 8/1/26 Hyundai still tells me they do not have the parts. Passengers have had difficulty getting seat belts to latch properly.

I was driving and stopped at the tunnel for traffic. My car shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. It seemed to have overheated. After about ten minutes, it started again. This issue presents an extreme safety risk. The second-row seatbelt buckle is now cracked, crushed, and structurally compromised, rendering the restraint system unsafe and unusable for rear-seat passengers, including my young children. My seat buckles have been on recall since last year and they still have not fixed them. I have been to the dealership capital Hyundai in Greensboro, NC multiple times to try and get them fixed. They told me in January that it would be fixed in February. I am concerned to drive my car with my kids if they are not latching properly.
