Steering, structure, service Brakes

I am reporting multiple factory defects on my 2024 Honda CR-V, led by a severe, confirmed steering safety defect commonly known as 'sticky steering' where the steering wheel sticks/notches while driving and requires excessive force to correct, causing dangerous lane swerving. The authorized Honda dealership confirmed the steering gearbox has failed and requires replacement but the necessary parts are backordered indefinitely, forcing me to leave the unsafe vehicle at the dealership. Furthermore, the vehicle suffers from two additional major unresolved warranty issues recorded under the same Repair Order: a defective door weather stripping seal that has peeled off and detached from the door frame, compromising cabin weather sealing, and a strong, musty mold odor emitted from the AC system on low fan speeds that poses an air quality and health concern for occupants. Due to this unaddressed steering safety hazard, additional factory defects, and backordered parts, the vehicle remains out...

While driving on the highway, the driver's side rear passenger window exploded. Only vehicle near me was a pickup truck starting to pass me on the driver's side. The window was open about 2", as well as the driver's window. It sounded like a blast went off next to the car and I saw glass flying across the back seat. It even landed in the compartment behind the seats

At 112,000 miles, the engine in my 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid (2.0L Atkinson-cycle engine) suffered a catastrophic head gasket failure, causing severe coolant intrusion into the cylinders. All scheduled maintenance intervals in the owner's manual were followed and documented. The dealer and corporate (Case #16444920) have refused assistance. This is a widely documented mechanical defect where constant thermal cycling (the gas engine repeatedly turning on and off during hybrid operation) stretches the factory head bolts and destroys the gasket seal. This defect can lead to unexpected, total engine failure while driving at highway speeds, posing a severe safety risk to the occupants.

The backup camera is in black and white and very washed out. It is very difficult to make out details and has caused several near misses. The issue is especially bad at night. The camera is essentially non-functional and represents a safety issue. This has been the case since purchasing the vehicle in 2024. The Honda CRV 2024 was not included in the recent recall for backup camera issues on other Honda models. The dealership knows it is an issue yet continues to tell me they have no solution.

While operating my 2024 Honda CRV Sport - L Hybrid, the vehicle experienced a sudden and catastrophic head gasket failure at 108K - miles. This resulted in an immediate, unexpected loss of engine power. The dashboard engine light came on "Emissions system problem. Power may be reduced. See your dealer. This sudden loss of propulsion created an immediate safety hazard, placing myself and other driver at risk of a rear-end collision. The vehicle was towed off the freeway over 45-miles to a certified Honda dealership where a blown head gasket was confirmed. Despite maintaining the vehicle perfectly according to Honda's schedule, this represents a premature mechanical engine defect that presents a severe road way safety risk.
