DROVE VEHICLE FROM THE MARKET TO HOME AND VEHICLE LOST SHIFT CAPABILITY IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING CAR FROM DRIVE POSITION INTO PARK. HAD TO USE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO HOLD CAR FROM MOVING. WAS TOLD BY RECALL CENTER THAT I HAD TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC BY A DEALER TO CONFIRM THAT RECALL WAS THE ISSUE AND THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A SOLUTION YET. WORK IN PROCESS. I HAD CAR TOWED TO DEALERSHIP AND IT WAS DUE TO RECALL AND THAT THERE IS NO PART AVAILABLE AND DON'T KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE. MADE CALL TO THE RECALL CENTER AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE A RENTAL ASSISTANCE BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY EVERYTHING UPFRONT AND THEN I WOULD BE REIMBURSED. NO IDEA WHEN SOLUTION WOULD BE RESOLVED.
