    Rear trunk won't open.

  • Exterior Lighting 03/31/2026

    Brake Light failure from water intrusion with less than 40k miles. Repair Invoice was $845.

    The powertrain control system has detected one of the transmission clutches did not apply within the expected time as expected. It has resulted in delayed and harsh shifts to another gear and sometimes does not. Circumstances include jerking, hesitation and complete failures unpredictably (sudden loss of power), which has created unsafe driving conditions that happened when accelerating or merging into traffic. This issue is consistent with complaints reported by other owners, as well. Nothing has been address by Ford Lincoln to address this unsafe issue. This is a serious safety risk. There is no recall or TSB to date. Invoice is 6500 to repair. This same issue is being reported by many according to a Lincoln fb group and a search on the internet, as well. I have reported the issue to their Customer Service line and to the Lincoln app. I am requesting that this issue be investigated for manufacturer action with complete and all dollar reimbursements, including tow charges.     I currently have 2 recall notices. One dated 8/25 - Parts are not available and another one dated 4/26 - software not available. When can I expect these to be resolved?

    The contact owns a 2020 Lincoln Corsair. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V510000 (Back Over Prevention) and 26V123000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the parts for the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the recall repairs had been incomplete since 2025. The manufacturer was not contacted regarding the unrepaired recalls. The contact had not experienced a failure.
