2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Complaints

I am experiencing two serious issues with my Jeep that have raised significant safety concerns. First, the front passenger seat's lumbar bladder repeatedly inflates on its own, making the seat extremely uncomfortable and causing severe back pain for anyone sitting in it. I have been informed that this is a known issue affecting many Jeeps of this model. The dealership previously deflated the lumbar bladder under warranty, but now the problem has returned. I was told I must pay for the repair out of pocket because the previous deflation supposedly voided or disqualified the warranty coverage. I do not believe I should be responsible for paying to fix a recurring defect that was previously addressed under warranty. Second, the Electronic Brake System (EBS) warning light comes on randomly, and when it does, my vehicle unexpectedly slows down or comes to a stop. Right passenger side rear coil spring ejected from vehicle pull into parking space a loud booming sound from rear of vehicle

The coil spring on the rear passenger side has become detached from my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited. I was unaware that it had happened when I started to drive and could hear something kind of bouncing around. When I got out of the vehicle to see what was going on, I could see that the rear of the car seemed unusually low. That is when I looked under and saw the spring dangling next to the tire. It could've caused a bad accident if it had gotten caught up in the tire or if it had completely detached and either hit another car or caused another car to hit it. The vehicle had a recall for this in 2023, before I owned it, and the status says "inspected" but not repaired. There was another recall early in 2026 for this same issue, but at this time, my vehicle is not part of that recall. However, it should be as this is a dangerous, scary issue that isn't immediately evident. The starter/starter solenoid and related engine oil sealing have failed three times. Most recently on 6/18/2026, and previously in 2024 and 2025, the vehicle would not start: the dashboard illuminated but the engine would not crank. The engine then began smoking and a burning electrical smell entered the cabin. My wife and young child were in the vehicle. The vehicle was rendered completely inoperable and had to be towed each time. Safety risk: an engine that smokes and emits a burning electrical odor upon attempted starting presents a fire hazard to occupants. On the most recent occurrence the failure happened at a fuel station with my family present, over 1,000 miles from home, stranding us for seven days. Dealer confirmation: yes. On the two prior occasions a franchise dealer diagnosed a defective starter solenoid and replaced the starter. Both repairs failed and the identical failure recurred. The rear right coil spring and is available for inspection upon request. Spring failed while car was parked in driveway on flat ground, the car was driven with me and my 1 year old at highway speeds of 75mph. No warnings were displayed on dashboard. Never received an update of a recall and will not pull up when VIN is searched. Upon VIN search on MOPAR website original recall repair was done in 2023 which has failed. We did not know of this spring failure until arriving home and seeing it lie where I was parked. Earlier in the day a loud metal noise was heard but figured it came from passing traffic on highway. No one has inspected the vehicle yet, working on trying to get it towed since it is no longer safe to drive. Vehicles rear right tire is now pitched in at top towards rear wheel well. No warning or message was alerted to me.
