2024 Hyundai Palisade Complaints

I am filing a vehicle safety complaint regarding a 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy due to repeated safety-related mechanical failures and ongoing defects that create dangerous and unpredictable driving conditions. Since purchase in August 2024, the vehicle has experienced multiple serious issues, including steering rack problems causing sticking, resistance, abnormal noises, and inconsistent steering response while driving. The vehicle has also experienced rear automatic braking/sensor malfunctions causing sudden stopping and grinding during operation, creating unsafe driving conditions and concerns about unintended braking behavior. Additional issues include transmission and gear engagement concerns, engine replacement under recall, infotainment system replacement, ongoing recall-related concerns, and excessive tire wear requiring replacement of all four tires at approximately 29,000 miles. On 2 separate occasions, under similar circumstances, the collision warning systems, both front and rear, applied the brakes for no reason. When reversing slowly (foot slowly off brake pedal) from a parking space on an almost empty rooftop parking lot; I confirmed there was no foot traffic or moving vehicles before I started to back up. The brakes automatically applied (no screen display); I reapplied the brake and was then able to reverse normally. On a normal service visit to my dealership, I mentioned the incident and it was noted on my invoice. About 3 weeks later, at a full stop at a stop sign, I was about to turn left onto another road. After confirming there was no cross traffic of any kind, and before I had completely released the brake, the collision assist engaged and suddenly applied the brakes (again with no screen display but an audible thump). safety belts in front row and 3rd row seating come undone or will not click shut we have contacted the dealer several times only to hear they don’t have the parts, this is a safety issue and we should not have to drive around not being able to secure ourselves in the vehicle we have been dealing with this issue well over a year

I feel that the recent hyundai Tucson recall should be expanded to 2024 palisades. My sensors often go off when it is unnecessary on my palisade. Additionally, I feel like recall NHTSA Recall Number 25V607000 has not been corrected in a timely manner. I've requested to my local dealership to fix this recall multiple times and each time have been told they don't have the parts and its "slow moving". The recall has been open for long enough I feel that shouldn't be the case, especially for seat belt buckles.

Hyundai has failed to provide replacement of recalled seatbelts in a timely manner. The dealership has been unable to provide the replacement parts due to back order and lack of supplies from Hyundai and this is unacceptable. Hyundai has repeatedly shown poor quality in their safety, testing, and products and the consumer is the one taking the fall with death traps for vehicles. This vehicle has had multiple hazardous safety recalls in the last year alone - two still pending a resolution.
