Multiple lights and warnings on dashboard of 2019 Honda CRV. Car would not reverse. Warnings were all at once and included, Emissions system problem, braking problem, power steering problem, collision mitigation system problem, electric parking brake problem and many others. Honda mechanic stated this is a very known problem with 2019 CRV and it’s the fuel injectors and head gasket.

The steering gearbox failed. Once we have the car fixed we will be able to submit the part if needed. Yes, our safety and the safety of others was very much at risk. We were told the steering could have binded at any moment, leaving the wheel completely stuck in place. This would likely have resulted in a very serious crash. Yes, the vehicle had a diagnostic ran at a Honda dealership. There were no warning lights at all.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights illuminated and started flashing. The vehicle started to decelerate, and the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was diagnosed with a high-pressure fuel pump failure. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 133,178.

7-16-26, I was driving on the highway. All the warning lights on the dash lit up. The car dropped down to 20 miles per hour. I tried to speed up, but could not. It is experiencing an extended crank, sever stuttering and engine stalling. It has actively thrown code P0087 for low fuel rail pressure. An independent service center confirmed the code P0087. The dealership performed diagnostic test and confirmed code P0087. The component was part of recall: 21V-215. There were no other warning lamps, messages or symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. My car is currently at the dealership because Honda has denied the claim. I have a 3 day free loaner from the dealership. I have escalated to Honda Corp. I will need a car for longer than 3 days while I wait for the escalations department to make a final decision.

Multiple times when stopped at a stop light, the vehicle will stall and die. Car requires restarting ignition to run. A mechanic believes it is the fuel injector system (either defective or worn) that is causing these stall issues. This is a safety problem as I was almost hit several times by other cars on the road.
