The contact owns a 1991 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while attempting to accelerate from a complete stop, the vehicle was sluggish. The contact stated that the vehicle operated as needed after warming up. The contact stated upon refueling the vehicle, the gasoline would splash out of the fuel tank filler neck and onto the gas pump. There was no warning light illuminated. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 142,000.

The contact owned a 2000 Ford F-150. The contact stated that her son had parked the vehicle in the residence driveway and had turned off the ignition. The son had exited the vehicle and saw that a fireball had erupted from under the hood. The contact stated that she had reviewed the explosion on her home security camera. The contact stated that the fire department was called and extinguished the flames with water. A fire department report was not filed however it was commented that the origin was most likely an electrical fire. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to an impound lot and was declared a total loss by her insurance company. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Safety Hotline. The contact was aware of an open recall for the vehicle, NHTSA Campaign Number: 05V017000 (Vehicle Speed Control), which had a risk of fire. The contact was not the original owner of the vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

Right Price Auto stated that they would do repairs 2000 ford f150 XLT purchased truck, they supposedly repaired gas gage however bad battery & rear tires(extremely bald) were left untouched & kept lying about getting tires replaced(rather they were used tires or not),just constantly keep lying...... Also keep lying about repairing my 2015 ram 1500 5.7V8 big horn stating they fixed it(Misfire on #8),with all the lying & scheming(Now all Coil packs(8) & spark plugs(16) needs to be replaced),trucks are just sitting in my yard,2000 f150 bad battery & bald tires in rear(unsafe to drive),I feel cheated, they sold my trade in(2003 dodge ram 1500)with in a week & leave my son & I with trucks that are inoperable, they stated these things would be repaired before we signed any papers but once we signed AS-IS document they started with the lying & scheming, either I want these matters fixed or I want the $2000 back for my trade in & the $500 cash they took off my debit card for a total of $2,50...
