The contact leased a 2023 Ford Edge. After a rainstorm, the contact discovered water accumulation in the footwell of the front driver’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where parts of the interior of the vehicle were removed to dry out the interior of the vehicle; however, the dealer then discovered there was a crack in the windshield which caused the failure. After two weeks in the possession of the dealer, the vehicle was returned to the contact; however, the vehicle failed to start up after several attempts. The vehicle was driven and towed to the dealer on multiple occasions where diagnostics were performed but no defects were found. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 17,095.

The contact owns a 2023 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 35–40 MPH with her two daughters occupying the rear seats, they heard an abnormal sound of fluid in the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to determine that the abnormal sound was caused by the fuel in the fuel tank swishing around. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 25.

The contact rented a 2023 Ford Edge. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the brake warning light illuminated, and the vehicle stalled. Additionally, the contact stated that the steering wheel became firm. The vehicle was able to restart after several attempts after each failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
