The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) and 23V751000 (Engine and Engine Cooling); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that an appointment was scheduled with the local dealer for the recall repairs; however, the contact was informed by the dealer while in the repair bay, that parts were still unavailable. The recall repairs were not performed. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The vehicle's dash states the following are malfunctioning: Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Collision Mitigation System, and Lane Keeping Assist. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. A few days prior to this message appearing on the dash, the car flashed and beeped that I needed to BRAKE when there wasn't anything in front of me while driving. The car automatically braked without me doing anything. There weren't any vehicles behind me in that specific moment. With how sudden the car braked, this could have caused a collision. This vehicle has been repaired by the dealership where it was purchased, for this exact issue. The first sign of sensors malfunctioning was in January 2022 (I purchased the vehicle in June 2021). I have taken the vehicle to the dealership for repairs 3 times in relation to sensor malfunction and for replacement of rear actuators, which is stated in the Service Repair Summaries. The contact owns a 2020 Acura TLX. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact released the accelerator pedal for several seconds, and the vehicle resumed normal operation. The contact attempted to repair the issue by adding fuel cleaner and other products to the engine, but the failure persisted. Upon investigation, the contact discovered and linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline). The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 149,000.

the engine failed and lost all power to the car. It is available for inspection. My safety was put at risk because if i was going on a freeway and freeway speeds i probably would have crash and potentially crash into other people, causing a huge safety issue. The problem has been confirmed by dealer. They said it is very possible the engine rod bearing could have caused this. This is being inspected by Acura. Prior to failed there were no warning lamps or indicators. They all turned on once the car died.
