2015 Ram 1500 Complaints

2015 Ram 1500 Laramie. ABS, Traction control, Brake light warnings on. Cruise control also will not work. Have taken to dealer O'Steen in Nashville, Ga. and was told the ABS module is bad and they are unable to get one. They informed me they have had three other customers order this module and none have received the part. They have been on back order for over a year.

Dear NHTSA, I am contacting you regarding an active service campaign for my vehicle involving the crankshaft position sensor and tone ring. I would like to arrange for this campaign to be completed as soon as possible. I was told by one dealership that my vin doesn't fall under this campaign. The Campaign is noted for the years of vehicle and my Truck stopped mid-drive in traffic abruptly. I feel this could have been a safety concern. When code ran and light on dash it says crank shaft position sensor. My power steering went out. Driving onnthe highway and it just stopped qorking.

The contact owns a 2015 RAM 1500. The contact stated that while parked and inspecting the brakes, the contact noticed cracks on both ends of the sway bar. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the sway bar was cracked and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was then taken to another independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the sway bar was cracked on both ends and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel suddenly became difficult to steer in either direction. The power steering warning light illuminated. Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign: 16V167000 (Steering). The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired because the VIN was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 153,500.
