    The contact owns a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the contact noticed that the infotainment system was displaying a blank and darkened screen. No warning light was illuminated. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the infotainment system needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 59,785.

  • Suspension, wheels, service Brakes 07/04/2025

    Excess play with front axles, manufacture defect improperly torqued axles, under or no grease for axles. Loud clunk noise when braking, rotors and brakes were replaced noise still exists, dealership claims it was the rotors and brakes from harsh driving which is false. Issues with axle, premature wear of front and rear rotors and brakes caused by front axles and suspension failure & defects dealership is refusing to honor warranty.

    The contact owns a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at undisclosed speeds, the Collision Mitigation warning light had unintentionally illuminated. The contact added that the vehicle was typically parked inside the garage. The vehicle was taken to a dealer five times, and the contact expressed concerns about the collision warning light being inadvertently illuminated. The contact stated that after receiving the vehicle, the warning light disappeared but reappeared after approximately a month. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure five times and stated that the contact would receive a call back, but had not yet received a call back. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

    After an afternoon driving in the rain most of the previous day my vehicle started to produce a clunking noise from the rear and front of the vehicle. I was able to stop at my mechanic near by and have them check the problem. My mechanic was able to diagnose the issue as a rear end differential coupler issue and said a bulletin had been posted about the issue. He was unable to work on the problem due to the specific equipment needed for the vehicle. I was able to call the closest dealership where they confirmed this was an issue they have been seeing more of this problem lately. So much so they had stocked that part and run out of that part. As I turned out into traffic I could have easily caused someone to rear end my vehicle due to the lack of engagement from the drive-train.   • Back Over Prevention 08/01/2024

    The hood vibrates. It looks as if the hood is popped, but not actually unlatched. I had the update done on my backup camera, and now it's starting to glitch with lines that go across the whole screen. It reminds me of regular Nintendo in the '90s glitching out. And having to restart the whole system.
