2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Complaints

There is times when driving that the transmission jerks when I press the pedal, like the car is slipping when acceleration. I have 76,600 miles on it.

Touchscreen Issues: The center infotainment screen becomes unresponsive, particularly in frequently used areas, making it hard to control navigation and climate.

The unit powers on and displays images, but the touch input does not work in certain sections, making it difficult or impossible to operate important features like navigation, phone pairing, and climate settings through the screen. This failure has the potential to affect safety because the unresponsive areas make it harder to change settings while driving, which can increase driver distraction. The Wind blew the passenger side panels off my car while driving. It even took some of the clips from the car. Safe panels should be tested for extreme wind and should not have fallen off

The contact owns a 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH and turning on the A/C, the vehicle made an abnormal loud sound and shut off inadvertently. The contact stated that upon restarting the vehicle with the A/C turned on, the failure reoccurred. Upon investigating the failure online, the contact became aware that the vehicle was turning off because the A/C was engaged. The contact turned off the A/C, restarted the vehicle and was able to continue driving. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was scheduled for a diagnostic test. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 13,350.
