2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar Complaints

Upon startup, vehicle infotainment system, radio controls, climate controls and blue-tooth are inoperative. Display is black but engine is running. This continues for a while even after driving has commenced. When vehicle comes to a stop at a signal or in traffic, engine stops and vehicles goes into park. This is different from when the vehicle normally auto shuts off in stop and go traffic. After a few minutes, display sometimes restores but usually the vehicle has to be shut down, locked, unlocked and then restarted, but this too does not always work. We have brought it in for service multiple times and we are told that they cannot reproduce the problem, but they updated the software. We submitted a video and photo of what happens during this problem, but the dealership has not resolved the issue. Fan noise ramps up (loudly) as if the vehicle is accelerating for at least 2-3 minutes after the vehicle is shut off.

CAR BLACKS OUT STALL WHILE DRIVING AFTER CLICKING SOUND ON RIGHT SIDE OF CAR

FOR TWO YEARS THIS CAR AS HAD NUMEROUS EPISODES OF WHILE DRIVING COMPLETELY SHUTTING DOWN WITH NO ADVANCED WARNING AND AT VARIOUS SPEEDS. I HAVE DRIVEN ON WARM, COLD, WET AND DRY DAYS WHEN THIS HAS OCCURRED. MOST RECENTLY I WAS DRIVING ON A MAIN STREET WHEN THE CAR JUST SHUT DOWN AND WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE MANY TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION, THEY SAY THEY CAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS AND UNSAFE AUTOMOBILE AND I AM LUCKY THAT THE CAR BEHIND ME WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE COLLISION. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR, LUCK WAS ON MY SIDE THIS LAST TIME, I COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR WORSE. BESIDES THE SHUTTING DOWN THIS CAR HAS HAD SO MANY ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER ISSUES AND ALWAYS NEEDS SOFTWARE UPDATES WHICH DON'T REALLY FIX THE PROBLEMS AND SOMETIMES CAUSE OTHER ISSUES TO OCCUR. WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IT JUST STOPPED. ENGINE SHUT OFF AND LEFT ME STRANDED. CRANK IS DAMAGED AND I WAS TOLD I NEED A NEW ENGINE. LAND ROVER WILL NOT REPLACE THE ENGINE UNDER WARRANTY. SAID I NEED TO PAY FOR OUT OF POCKET. APPARENTLY THERE IS A RECALL FOR MY YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL VEHICLE FOR THIS SAME ISSUE. LAND ROVER CLAIMS MY VIN IS NOT PART OF THE RECALL.
