    Brakes are locking up to a point that it feels like the car is in lower gear. It feels like the car is pulling back when you exhilarate. The rotor is turns bright red and you can smell the burning.

The vehicle was taken to Disbrow's Auto Repair LLC, where it was diagnosed and determined that the catalytic converter had failed and needed to be replaced.     The contact owns a 2014 Jeep Patriot. The contact stated that upon entering the vehicle, the passenger’s side active headrest had deployed. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the two plastic clips used to hold the headrest in place were fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V282000 (Electrical System, Air Bags), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 16,000. The VIN was not available.
