I was going to work at 5am I came to a red light, and the light turn green i press the gas to go there was no acceleration the car rolled backwards. I turned vehicle off. and restarted. still no acceleration. i moved the gear into first (this an auto vehicle). with that i catches enough to coarse. Not enough acceleration to pull into the driveway. I had gone into reverse just to get in. i had it looked at and it's the CVT transmission for my 2014 jeep patriot the cost for repairs 5,000 to 6,000. The failure mileage130,000

On a fateful day, I, [XXX] , found myself in a harrowing situation on the interstate. While driving, my car unexpectedly flipped over, tumbling four times before coming to a jarring stop. The vehicle was parked in front of my house, completely away from all traffic or other probable causes. The driver's side head rest deployed for no apparent reason. My vehicle had no scratches or dents. If you need to come see it, let me know. Now if I do have an accident, I'm at risk of head and neck injuries. I spoke to a certified Jeep dealership mechanic that told me replacement parts were no longer available. He did not inform me of any recalls or issues with this make and model and made it sound like an expensive repair. After looking this issue up on the internet, it seems to have happened to others. The deployment did not activate the airbags or turn on the warning light on my dash.

I went to the Quirk Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership of Dorchester (on hallet street) to have my vehicle recall serviced & I was turned away because I was told that the dealership does not service cars passed a certain mileage limit.
