While driving my vehicle on numerous occasions, I get the alert “Stop safely, electrical fault detected”. I have to pull over and rest my vehicle before driving again. If I continue to drive, the car shifts into neutral and loses power. This is very dangerous and it will stop anywhere while driving. I took it to the dealership in VA where I lived at the time in 2023. I was told there was no issue detected. I took it to the dealership in PA after I moved in 2024 and was told it could possibly be the alternator which was replaced. The error still occurs on and off since then. This began in November 2023, 3 months after buying the vehicle. The vehicle was new and I first started getting the alert at 3,000 miles. I am now at 16,000 miles. The problem is still occurring. It has recently got worse and quickly shifts into neutral without getting any warning, then I lose compete power.
