2014 Infiniti Q50 Complaints

RECALL NUMBER 16V430000 RECALL DATE 06/12/2016 STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP WHEN TURNING AND STEERING WHEEL TURNS UPSIDE DOWN MUST TURN VEHICLE OFF THEN TURN BACK ON FOR STEERING WHEEL TO CORRECT ITS SELF ITS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE I CALLED MY LOCAL DEALER THEY SAID THEY NEVER HEARD OF SUCH RECALL AND FOUND NOTHING ON MY VEHICLE PLEASE HELP ME I JUST NEED MY VEHICLE FIXED IVE BEEN A SERVICE MANAGER FOR 9 YEAR NOW ALL IM ASKING FOR IS HELP

The contact owns a 2014 Infiniti Q50. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the passenger’s side air bag off warning light remained illuminated constantly. The contact stated that the warning light was also present while a passenger was seated in the seat. The contact used a diagnostic scanner to identify an abnormal voltage to the passenger’s side air bag sensor. The manufacturer was contacted but no assistance was provided. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 16V244000 (AIR BAGS). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 36,000.

Possible odometer fraud seller told me it has a clean title turn out it didnt

I was stopped at a stop sign and pulled out into an intersection and lost power.

The transmission Valve Assembly Control Module and Vehicle Speed Sensors have both failed. The car will not shift out of 2nd gear and cannot go faster than 40 mph. This is a safety issue. I had my car inspected by a certified mechanic and he diagnosed the problem. He also stated that that he has seen this a lot with Infinitis. I have maintained my car well but this is Not a maintenance issue. There are thousands of infiniti owners online stating that they had the exact same problem. I filed a case with Infiniti #52260861. This is a design flaw with All Infiniti cars and SUV's and it should be a Recall or at a minimum fixed for free by Infiniti. It cost me $3,500 to have my car fixed and this should be paid by Infiniti to me and all other Infiniti owners with this same problem.
