After calling my local Honda dealership I was denied services. Due to my vehicles airbag already being deployed in an accident. Honda manger stated no work will be done since my vehicles already has deployed airbags. Would have been the case since I bought the car off a salvage auction, with the airbags deployed.

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V182000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the air bag and check engine warning lights illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,346. Parts distribution disconnect.

We heard a pop and the vehicle had no gears ... was told by mechanic that this should have been a recall. If it happened on the highway it may have been a fatality.

The contact owns a 2007 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, there was smoke coming from under the hood. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the power steering fluid hose had failed causing the power steering fluid to leak into the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the local mechanic who diagnosed that the power steering hose needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the NHTSA Campaign Number: 12V222000 (Steering). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 320,000.
