This is a Mustang convertible. The doors would be open all of the sudden when the car is running especially on highway. It's not wide open but ajar. The wind would blow into the car, noisy and scary. Both doors have this issue, mainly on driver side. The passenger side also happened once on highway when my daughter was there. This typically happen in a long drive like couple of hours. The first time this happened is couple of years ago. This issue happened more and more often in the past year. I found online that this issue was reported and some of the cars were recalled. However, my car is not one of those that were recalled. I believe this is a big deal and should be taken care of seriously. Thank you.

While driving my recently purchased 2017 Ford Mustang Convertible from Florida to North Carolina, the passenger-side door repeatedly unlocked and partially opened while the vehicle was traveling at interstate speeds. This created a significant safety concern due to the risk of occupant injury, driver distraction, and potential loss of vehicle control. Based on my research, numerous owners of Ford Mustang Convertibles from model years around 2017 have reported experiencing similar door latch and door-opening issues. Given the frequency of the occurrences and the obvious safety implications of a vehicle door opening while traveling at highway spe...

Recall performed and tech stated parts were bad and needed desperately and parts were ordered. I have a repair invoice to prove it in my vehicle history. I rescheduled appointment for recall completion and service manager was very rude and stated recall doesn’t even have parts out until 11/2026. When I questioned if recall was performed improperly per TSB she placed me on hold for a while and she said parts department doesn’t have parts for me /never ordered anything and I can’t get the recall done.
