2019 Ford Fiesta Complaints

I received a recall notice on the rear view camera of this vehicle but they do not have a remedy for the recall.

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The contact received notice of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V951000 (Back Over Prevention). The contact stated that on several occasions while in reverse (R), the rear view camera went blank and a "camera unavailable" message appeared on the screen. Additionally, during those occasions, the rear view camera would then turn back on and/or become distorted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was not diagnosed, but the contact was told that parts for the recall were not yet available. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000.

The contact stated that the rearview camera would display a distorted image while the vehicle was in reverse(R). The contact stated that the failure had obstructed the driver's visibility, which prevented the driver from safely operating the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The brakes stick and then when i hit the gas its sluggish and just takes off full force. Causing 50% gas loss. The breaks are getting stuck. Calipers sticking. This is a fire hazard
