    The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Charger. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V018000 (Air Bags); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

    The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Charger. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to shift into gear. The check engine and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that upon turning off and restarting the vehicle, the vehicle operated as needed while driving at low speeds. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times while depressing the accelerator pedal to shift from first gear to a higher gear. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the contact was informed that there was no oil in the oil pan. The mechanic recommended an oil change and added oil to the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with major oil leak due to the oil filter housing failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. T...
