2017 Dodge Challenger Complaints

The contact's mother owns a 2017 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH, she noticed an abnormal water odor inside the vehicle and the vehicle was overheating. The contact veered to the side of the road for a moment and then continued driving; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that she veered to the side of the road several times on her way to her residence. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where the water pump was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the thermostat was replaced three times on three different occasions; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who informed the contact that the thermostat continuously failed due to the vehicle overheating; however, the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

Seat belt buckles have stop locking on drivers side and back seat belt after putting a carseat in the back. Front end driver side sounds like a crinkled noise and steering wheel feels like car wants to go a different direction then you actually turn.

The touch screen display has suffered from delamination, which has caused serious safety issues for me and my passengers. The delamination has caused the display to become blurry and difficult to read, making it difficult for me to access important features such as navigation and hands-free calling while driving. Causes temperature to increase without user input. 3. Makes calls without user input 4. Changes vehicle features such as engine and steering setting casting safety issues. 5. Causes Bluetooth and radio issues distracting me while driving 6. Causes system to reboot while driving allowing for some features to not be accessible.
