The contact owned a 2006 Toyota Camry. While the contact's son was driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle crashed into a street pole and rolled several times before crashing into a parked vehicle, where it came to a stop. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact's daughter-in-law and the contact's nephew were inside the vehicle during the failure. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was deemed a total loss. The contact's daughter-in-law and the contact's nephew were transported by ambulance to the local medical center. The contact's son was later taken to the local medical center. The daughter-in-law sustained a minor concussion and a fractured right wrist. The contact’s nephew sustained a minor concussion, a fractured right hand and wrist. The contact's son sustained a whiplash, a minor concussion, and a dislocated right shoulder. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 240,000.

ONLY DRIVER LOCK IS UNLOCKING/OPENING Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? YES Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? DEALERSHIP AND MECHANIC Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? YES. OFF& ON FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, THEN FINALLY STOPPED COMPLETELY.

The steering wheel while taking a right turn locked and wouldn't straighten all lights turned off on the panel all was locked and caused a crash because steering was locked into a turn

The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Camry Solara. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated and remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken for the State Inspection, and the contact was informed of an engine emissions leak. The cause of the failure was not yet determined, and the vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 84,274.
