2020050005-Modificationto emission control system cause:F Was informed of the Mercedes-Benz Recall for 2015 250 GLK BlueTec which I took to Dothan, AL Mercedes-Benz Dealership to have done for my safety. The car was not repaired correctly. It started to smoke a gray smoke coming up from under the car on the passenger side of the car over the front tire. I do have pictures. It smells as if it is about to catch on fire. The car never had any problems before this botched repair. Now they say they cannot find the problem. I’m afraid to drive it until they do. Each time they return it, the smoke is worse.

The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 2020100005 (replace Takata passenger-side module Air Bags) however, the dealer informed the contact that the part for the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair? The manufacturer was notified of the issue but did not provide any assistance. The vehicle was in an act of nature accident with a deer. The severe frontal impact damage didn't deploy the airbags. this is a major safety concern with the sensor electrical system, and the already RECALL airbags. The customer is receiving no resolve according to the NHTSA department approve lawsuit settlement claim filed.

The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V010000 (Air Bags) however, the dealer informed the contact that the part for the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue but did not provide any assistance. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

My car goes abruptly into park while driving or reversing at 5 mph or less. This is a big safety concern if it ever suddenly stalls in a highway, I may get into a life threatening accident. There are no warning or sensor lights that light up when this happens. I have taken it to the Mercedes Benz dealer who said it was a shift module error which I paid to fix and not even two weeks later the same problem persisted.
