2019 Lincoln MKT Complaints

The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln MKT. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V695000 (Back Over Prevention) and 25V827000 (Structure); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that while in reverse(R), the rearview camera displayed a black image. The contact stated that upon shifting to drive(D), a message advising that the camera was unavailable was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the camera was reprogrammed; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. While inspecting the vehicle, the dealer noticed that the front driver's side door panel was detaching and preventing the vehicle from unlocking. Backup Camera intermittent - VIN not in Safety Recall for Lincoln. It will be intermittent, then display message "Camera is unavailable"

The contact owns a 2019 Lincoln MKT. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V951000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The dealer was contacted and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but was unable to confirm when parts would be available. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
