2020 Jaguar I-PACE Complaints

This is an urgent update to a safety complaint filed on May 28, 2026 regarding a 2020 Jaguar I-PACE (VIN: [XXX] ). Today, May 29, 2026, a Jaguar Corporate Executive Liaison officially issued a written denial of alternative safe transportation (Case #XXX). The manufacturer explicitly claimed in writing that the vehicle is "safe to drive" and that parking it outside is "entirely my decision," directly contradicting active NHTSA Campaign 26V067000 (H570) documentation. JLR federal filings state that the final physical remedy (H572) is still under development and that instructions to park outside away from structures remain actively in effect. The manufacturer is actively misrepresenting the safety metrics of an uncorrected high-voltage battery fire risk to consumers. Furthermore, because I reside at [XXX] —a high-density neighborhood heavily vulnerable to fire spread and directly adjacent to the active Palisades wildfire zone—complying with the "park outside away from structures" mandate w...

Jaguar Land Rover issued a safety mandate stating my vehicle is a spontaneous fire hazard and must be parked away from structures. However, JLR corporate is actively refusing to provide a safety loaner car or rental accommodation while forcing a weeks-long paperwork audit, leaving me with a known fire hazard in an active California fire zone

Ok after done charging my Jaguar I Pace I put my car in reverse it made a clicking noise and then had traction battery warning pop up and high voltage battery warning then battery fault in red the car then just pushed itself forward for no reason and almost ran into the charger so I put it in park it stopped clicking. I honestly thought the car was going to start on fire this was after the software interim recall it isn't a fix it's a monitoring system but it didn't fix the problem now look the car is in the shop. I've owned the vehicle for 3 weeks and it's been in the shop 2 times it's absurd. I do not know what is wrong with the car but it has been in the dealership for a little bit and they need to bring in a Ev mechanic which takes time. I just want the car to get fixed and to be honest the only way I will feel safe driving this car might be if they replace the battery if it is that defective if it isn't they need to prove to me that. But the dealership the car is in has been fanta...

The dealer has completed a reduction in battery charging to 90 percent. But has not remedied the possibility of overheating or fire. I now have a vehicle that I can not fully charge, and as per manufacturer instructions cannot charge or even store in a garage. The value of my vehicle has been negatively affected due to these unresolved serious safety concerns. I therefore want Jaguar to fix the defects immediately or buy back the vehicle. My traction battery warranty is still in effect but I'm worried that Jaguar is delaying in hopes that more of the affected cars will run out of warranty. I've inquired about purchasing another vehicle from a different manufacturer but when I tell them I'm trading in my IPace their enthusiasm wanes. Please help.
