Power Train, engine
01/27/2025
On Feb 5, 2025, I received written confirmation from Infiniti Consumer Affairs (Case #[XXX]) that my vehicle was eligible for recall repair. However, on Jan 27, 2025, my Infiniti dealer (Stevens Creek Infiniti) informed me that Infiniti had denied the recall, despite this being necessary for California emissions compliance. This contradicts their initial confirmation and leaves me unable to legally smog or register the vehicle. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Air Bags, seat Belts
12/05/2024
Hello, I purchased my Infiniti Q60 Red Sport brand new in 2028. About a year after that I started to have electrical issues with the car. I've brought it in to the Infiniti dealer in Valencia, CA numerous times during the warranty period (and a few times out of the warranty period), to have these issues addressed. Some were resolved and some were not. So In the past 4-5 years I've brought my vehicle in about 15 times or more to be fixed. The latest issue is a safety problem. About a week ago I noticed that the passenger seat belt sign on the dash does not come on when a passenger is seated without the belt engaged (normally I get a red warning sign that the seat belt is not buckled for the passenger). At the same time I also noticed that there's a red airbag indicator light that stays on at all times while driving. I brought the car in to the dealer again to have it diagnosed, but the service advisor stated that it will be $235 to diagnose the issue, and that more than likely I have...

Unknown Or Other
11/08/2023
I was driving down the road heading to work on a regular street, not even the highway or anything. I heard a loud bang like a gun shot and I almost swerved and crashed from how loud it was. I immediately pulled over to see if maybe I ran something over or anything else, when I had noticed my sunroof glass had exploded like completely dismantled from some type of force from the inside. The glass looks pushed out from the inside. I’ve been calling the dealer ship to ask about recalls. I have looked online and their is a whole forum page about other cars that had the same issue and there’s one specific to Infiniti models. Please help I just don’t want to fix it right now and have it keep on happening if it’s some type of manufacturing defect

Engine
09/04/2022
The Infiniti Q60/Q50 has issues with the accessory belt. The belt is known to break without any warning or major signs of wear and tear. When the belt breaks it makes the car difficult to drive and poses a safety risk. This issue affects the 2017-2022 models. When the belt break it causes additional problems such as faulty water pumps, and engine over heating leading to major engine problems. These cars should have been recalled years ago. Drivers on social media have reported the problem with less that 10000 miles and up.
