2021 Chrysler Voyager Complaints

I purchased a 2021 Chrysler Voyager in August 2024 from Apple Autos in Shakopee MN. When we purchased the car, there has always been a rough idle and were assured that this was due to the automatic start/engine. Around July 2025, I began experiencing engine issues that have persisted for over two months. Initial issues were a significant rough idle and car dying. We brought the car in and repaired both batteries and replaced all the spark plugs. The issues have persisted. Symptoms include overheating, coolant loss, and misfires on cylinder 3. Diagnostics suggest a head gasket failure. This issue poses a safety risk, especially if the engine fails while driving. I’ve attempted repairs, but the problem remains unresolved. I’m concerned this may be a premature failure affecting other vehicles of the same model and engine type. After going through rapid acceleration, van will experience electrical issue which does not allow for acceleration and triggers auto stop to fail. The electrical issue prevents the van from accelerating while in motion on a highway. This issue has persisted every year, despite replacing both the main and auxiliary batteries. Both batteries have failed within a year and recently after a week of being replaced.

My rear camera is not working properly. This started around [XXX]. Also apparently my auto stop is no longer working this is the second time this has happened to me last year end of 8/24 - 9/24 I had it fixed at a dodge dealer in New Jersey and now it has happened again. I don’t understand how in less then a year I’m dealing with the same problem I really think I was sold a lemon. The contact owns a 2021 Chrysler Voyager. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle unintendedly accelerated while depressing the brake pedal. The contact stated that the electronic throttle control warning light was illuminated. The contact depressed the brake pedal and was able to slow the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle failed to respond as needed while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the electronic throttle control warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the engine was not revving while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

Blown head gasket at 116k miles and it’s a known issue for these vehicles (Chrysler/Jeep). They are faulty and nothing is being done
