2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer Complaints

P245/65 R17, we purchased 4 tires 1 1/2 yrs ago. 3 of those 4 have had massive blow outs almost causing accidents. No nails, but big blow outs.

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle lost power steering and braking functionality. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the residence. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic with power steering failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 05V455000 (Steering). The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.

Driving vehicle turn it off turn back on drive somewhere and turn it off and go swimming for an hour came back go to go start it and would not start I believe it's the anti-theft system as we replaced the ignition switch and the ignition cylinder but my illumination selector for my gear selector nor my tachometer works nor do my front two windows or locks

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact replaced the camshaft and crankshaft sensors; however, the failure recurred with an error code for the Variable Valve Timing (VVT). Additionally, the odometer mileage would not appear upon starting the vehicle until the vehicle was driven. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the timing chain and actuator needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000.

LOW BEAMS SOMETIMES FLICKER ON AND OFF AND THEN AT NIGHT WHILE IM DRIVING THEY WILL JUST GO OUT AND STAY OUT.
