2013 Bmw 750Li Complaints

The contact owns a 2013 BMW 750LI. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the door failed to open. The contact attempted to unlock the knob and open the door. On a separate occasion, after the contact was dining with his wife, the contact's wife attempted to open the door; however, the door failed to open from the inside. The contact attempted to lower the window and open the door with the key; however, the passenger’s side door failed to open. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired for the failure. The dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 120,510.

My car keeps shutting off completely in the middle of driving on highway or any road it’s becoming a safety risk this car once had an open recall for the same issue but I didn’t receive memo but according to bmw handbook emissions recall don’t expire for NJ registered vehicles but BMW won’t honor it

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BMW OF MONTEREY (1 GARY PLAZA, SEASIDE, CA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE COILS, INJECTORS, AND ECU WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
